Communicating Climate Change
Training Program
Change minds with research-based strategies
Climate communications isn’t working. Well-meaning organizations and individuals are using tried and true tactics in their messaging that have worked for other topics, but these old methods actually pushing people away from supporting climate action.
Climate psychology and human behavior research demonstrate the need for new tactics that are specific to climate space.
It IS possible to scale up climate action quickly, and an urgent shift in communications is the key. With only a few small changes, our posts online, speaking engagements and communications campaigns can bring even more people on board to support climate solutions.
By combining research into the psychology of climate change, persuasion and human behavior, this training program leads you through an analysis of your current communications and guides you to adopt a new approach.
With practice sessions and activities, you will have hands-on experience developing excellent and convincing climate communications.
