Corporate Climate Champions:
Influencing at Work
Overcome resistance to action
To persuade colleagues and upper management to scale up action, climate professionals are using traditional communications tactics.
These tactics often lack the nuance that research on climate psychology offers, and are not aligned with best practices for behavior change.
Common communications tactics aren’t successfully persuading most audiences, and can even create resistance to take action.
There is another way: effective climate communications techniques are easy to learn and implement.
Develop allies to multiply your impact
Scale up ecological and environmental actions and transform business practices by:
activating colleagues,
aligning your clients and suppliers with your efforts,
gaining support from upper management, and
engaging young talent.
Our engaging training programs and strategic advising support your organization’s ecological goals as well as supporting talent retention and employee engagement.

Adapted to your Company’s Unique Needs
Prior to every training (of any length), two hours of strategic planning permit One Climate Action to learn about your company’s internal climate and the specific types of resistance you encounter.
The training program is then customized to the specific sector that the organization operates in, and the specific needs of the team.
2. Strategic Advising
Following the complete 9-hour training, personalized strategy sessions are available to ensure successful implementation of the new skills.
These strategy sessions are led by a professional coach with a certification in holistic transformation.
A collaborative approach
During this advising, One Climate Action coaches small groups to create implementation plans that are personalized to the specific individuals and departments that your team wishes to influence.
Strategically designing outreach plans that are adapted to the target audience creates a carefully crafted plan to avoid any pitfalls and lay a foundation for success.
Eligibility
All past-participants of the 9-hour complete Talk Climate program are eligible for personalized strategy sessions to support their ability to successfully implement the training materials.
